Human Resource Executive magazine’s “Nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys” guide, which is produced in partnership with Lawdragon, recognizes employment lawyers who stand out for their ability to guide employers through constantly-evolving workplace laws. The list is intended to offer corporate counsel and human resource professionals an unsurpassed guide to the best lawyers to help them resolve difficult employment situations and keep them in compliance with increasingly complicated and changing workplace-related regulations.

Earlier this year, Human Resource Executive and Lawdragon solicited nominations for the list of the nation’s Most Powerful Employment Attorneys representing corporate America and researched potential candidates in Lawdragon’s extensive database.  After careful vetting, they arrived at their top 220 selections, including 60 specialists in immigration, employee benefits and ERISA, and labor law.  In addition, 20 attorneys have been named to our Hall of Fame and 40 up-and-comers (lawyers likely to make the top 100 and specialty lists in the near future) were recognized.  The criteria included a number of attributes, such as recent headline clients or cases; proven leadership, either as a thought leader or as the chair of a firm’s labor and employment group; affiliations and associations in peer-selected organizations; and other accomplishments, such as noteworthy publications and speaking circuits.

A recognized attorney typically has also generally chaired his or her firm’s employment department, been selected to lead his or her state or national employment-bar organization, and received glowing recommendations from corporate counsel who have benefited from their services and would hire them again.  Hoffman Hlavac & Easterly are particularly proud that Edward is the only lawyer based in the Lehigh Valley to be selected for this honor.

If you have any questions with regard to your labor and employment matters, Edward can be reached at eeasterly@hhe-law.com or 484-408-6004.
